RCMP Now Investigating Double Homicide In Dieppe

RCMP are now investigating the deaths of a man and woman in Dieppe as homicides.

Members of the Major Crime Unit remained on scene at a home on Amirault Street on Monday.

The bodies of a 78-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman were found inside the home on Saturday.

Police do not believe this was a random occurrence.

Autopsies have been scheduled on the victims to confirm how they died.

Police have not said yet whether or not they are searching for a suspect.

Anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident, or who may have information, is asked to contact the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit at 506-851-7281.
