The city’s main shopping mall, which has had a number of high-profile departures in recent years, continues to fill empty spots with the announcement of yet another new tenant.
McAllister Place announced Friday via Facebook that Mountain Warehouse Canada will be opening a location in the mall this fall. The store will be located next to Boathouse and Envy and will open later this fall, the mall confirmed to Huddle.
Mountain Warehouse is a British outdoor clothing and equipment brand with stores in the U.K., Europe, the U.S. and Canada.
The company will be hosting a job fair for its new Saint John location on Sept. 23 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. 8 p.m. and Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. They are looking to fill roles for manager, supervisor and sales positions.
This is the second new store announcement the mall has made in recent weeks. Two weeks ago it announced that Labels would also be opening a location this fall.
