Local Producer Inks Agreement With Cannabis NB

A licensed medical cannabis producer in St. Stephen has signed a multi-year supply agreement with Cannabis NB.

Tidal Health Solutions says two of its strains are now available at the Crown corporation’s 20 retail stores.

In a news release, Tidal said plans are in place to list more strains, as well as alternative packaging formats.

“This expansion into the retail space is an important one for Tidal,” said Tony Cina, the interim president and CEO, in the release.

“While our focus remains on direct-to-patient prescription sales, we are thrilled that the people of New Brunswick will now have more options and access to both our Shoreline and Even Keel strains.”

Tidal has purchased seven pieces of land and four buildings adjacent to its primary facility in the St. Stephen Industrial Park in the past year and a half.

The company has 24,000 sq. ft. of enclosed space for indoor vertical cultivation and 59,000 sq. ft. of
building space to be dedicated to research, development and production.

“We are pleased to be working with Tidal Health Solutions, to help us expand our portfolio of safe recreational adult-use products,” said Lara Wood, general manager of Cannabis NB, in the release. “We are always happy with the opportunity to partner with a local licensed producer.”
