An investigation into images of child sexual abuse has landed a Sussex Corner man with a three-year prison sentence.
Milton Wayne Taylor was sentenced Tuesday to three years for making child pornography available and to two years for possessing child pornography. He will serve the two sentences concurrently.
The 70-year-old man was arrested and charged in June of 2017 after police searched a home in Sussex Corner.
Several units were involved in the investigation, including Saint John and Kennebecasis regional police, the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Crime Centre, and Southeast District RCMP.
Taylor’s name has also been added to the National Sex Offender Registry and he will be required to submit a DNA sample.
He will have to abide by several conditions once he is released from prison, including not to be near children.
