RCMP Release Sketch Of Sexual Assault Suspect

Mounties have released a sketch of a man suspected of committing a sexual assault near Oromocto two years ago.

Police said the assault would have happened near the cemetery along Route 102, near the Burton Bridge, on Oct. 16, 2017.

Mounties said they released the sketch in hopes someone from the public might recognize the man.

The suspect is described as being relatively tall with a stocky build and a light complexion. He had short, brown hair, green eyes and a square face.

Police said he told the victim that his name was “Ethan Morehouse,” although investigators believe that was not likely his real name

At the time, the man was driving a grey or blue car with grey leather seats.

Anyone who may recognize the man, the name he used, or have any information about the incident is asked to contact the RCMP at 506-473-3137 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
