Getting a criminal background check just got easier, thanks to a new app from the Saint John Police.
Instead of applying for and conducting a background check in person at the station, you can now do so online.
Lesa Smart, the SJPF Information Services Coordinator, says not only will the app save time, it makes getting a background check more convenient for those who can’t make it to the police station during normal business hours.
Smart says you must be a resident of Saint John, and be able to prove your address in order to use the online app.
