Storm To Bring Snow, Freezing Rain Tuesday

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the region.

They warn of an approaching storm will bring snow, freezing rain and rain to the southeast of the province on Tuesday.

Beginning Monday night, a developing system will affect the province, starting as snow and then transitioning to rain in the south on Tuesday morning.

Environment Canada says while it’s still too early to provide further details, residents should prepare for freezing rain and a significant amount of snow.

They also urge those travelling through affected areas to prepare for difficult driving conditions.
