Woman Dies In Central N.B. Fire

Police say a 58-year-old woman has died after a house fire in a small community in central New Brunswick.

Fire crews were called to a home on A Street in McGivney around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

RCMP said the woman’s body was found at the scene. No one else was in the home at the time.

An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.

There is no word on how the fire started.

McGivney is located about 40 kilometres north of Fredericton.
