Slippery Roads Lead To Busy Day For Musquash Fire Department

The Musquash Fire Department responded to several collisions Sunday on Highway 1 caused by slippery roads.

The first call came in at 3:55 p.m. and involved a vehicle which slid off the road at kilometre marker 92. No injuries were reported.

Eight minutes later, a call came in for a two-vehicle crash at marker 83 near Lepreau. One vehicle lost control and hit another. Both drivers were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Then about 40 minutes later, a third call came in for single-vehicle crash at kilometre marker 93. There were no injuries.

The Musquash Fire Department is reminding drivers to slow down and drive properly for the conditions.
