Planning around the weather will be key to your New Year’s Eve plans with a messy mix of weather on the way.
Environment Canada meteorologist Andy Firth says heavy snow begins around noon Tuesday and will be mixed with ice pellets in the afternoon.
“That snow will change to rain either late this afternoon or this evening depending on where you are. Total snowfall amounts of 10, possibly 15 centimetres,” Firth said.
Snowfall warnings are in place for places like Fredericton, where up to 15 centimetres may come today followed by another five to 10 centimetres tonight.
