Two Sea Dogs Claimed Off Waivers

Two members of the Saint John Sea Dogs are headed to new homes.

Defenceman Olivier Desroches and forward Jérémie Jacob were placed on waivers.

The Halifax Mooseheads have claimed Desroches while the Acadie-Bathurst Titan have picked up Jacob.

Desroches, who is in his third season with the QMJHL, was acquired from Shawinigan in August.

The Quebec native played in 23 games this season and recorded two assists.

Jacob was a sixth-round draft pick of the Sea Dogs in 2017. The Dieppe native recorded seven goals and nine assists in 82 games..
