Parking Ban Called For South-Central Peninsula

The City of Saint John has declared a temporary overnight parking ban for the South/Central Peninsula beginning at 11 p.m. Monday until 7 a.m. Tuesday.

On-street parking is not allowed anywhere in the South/Central Peninsula area.

Vehicles left on the street after 11 p.m. will be ticketed or towed at the owner’s risk and expense.

Six lots are cleared for use as of 6 p.m., including lots on Peters Street, the corner of Princess Street and Canterbury Street, Carmarthen and Water streets.

Vehicles must be out of these lots by 7 a.m. Tuesday.
