Another Drop For Fuel Prices In N.B.

Gas and diesel prices have dropped for the fifth week in a row in New Brunswick.

The new maximum price for regular self-serve is $1.143 per litre, a drop of one cent.

Diesel prices are down by 6.4 cents to a new maximum of $1.231 per litre.

Most stations in Greater Saint John are selling for a few cents less.

Furnace oil and propane prices also fell when the New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board reset prices at midnight Wednesday night.

One year ago, the maximum price for regular-self serve was about 10 cents cheaper at just over $1.04 per litre while diesel cost nearly seven cents more at $1.30.
