The Saint John Fire Department answered a call for a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday night.
The collision happened on Mount Pleasant Avenue East between two cars.
A spokesperson for the fire department said one person was injured and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The crash caused significant or severe damage to both cars.
