Starbucks And Tim Hortons Make Changes Due To COVID-19

Starbucks Canada and Tim Horton’s are making changes as part of a national effort to contain COVID-19.

Starbucks is moving to a to-go model and removed the seating from its stores on Sunday.

Company operated stores in locations like malls, colleges and universities will be temporarily closed.

Restaurant Brands International, the company which operates Tim Hortons, says it’s closing all dining room seating effective Tuesday.

The company says restaurant owners will instead focus on take-out and drive-thru only.
