Irving Nature Park, Wolastoq Park Temporarily Closed

J.D. Irving, Limited is closing its parks across New Brunswick until further notice amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

That includes the Irving Nature Park, The Children’s Forest, Wolastoq Park and Sheldon’s Point in Saint John.

Public access will not be permitted on all beaches, trails, boardwalks and parking lots within the parks.

“In these unprecedented times, we as a community, must come together to ensure the health and safety of everyone is a top priority,” the company said in a statement.

JDI said says the move is an effort to minimize public gatherings and the potential spread of COVID-19.
