Man Arrested After Saint John Fire

One person has been arrested after a home in east Saint John was damaged by fire.

The blaze broke out on McNamara Drive in the Lakewood Heights community early Thursday afternoon.

The Saint John Fire Department said the fire was brought under control a short time later and no one was hurt.

Police said a man who is known to the homeowner was taken into custody.
