Two correctional officers were also victims in this past weekend’s tragedy in Nova Scotia.
Family and friends have identified them as Alanna Jenkins from Nova Penitentiary and Officer Sean McLeod from Springhill Institute.
A Spokesperson from Correctional Service Canada says “Our hearts go out to Nova Scotians, the families and loved ones of the victims, as we all grieve the horrible tragedy that unfolded in Nova Scotia.”
McLeod’s daughter said on Facebook she is at a loss for words following their deaths.
Taylor Andrews can’t wrap her around the fact her daughter won’t get to see her two favourite people in the world again.
