NB Liquor Sales Up By 15 Per Cent

NB Liquor saw a 15.2 per cent increase in sales during the first quarter of this fiscal year.

Figures released Wednesday by the Crown corporation show total sales were $126.6 million.

Sales of beer, wine, spirits, coolers and cider all increased during the quarter.

Coolers and cider saw the biggest jump with an increase of $6.39 million or 67.7 per cent.

Beer sales were up by 9.5 per cent or $4.89 million, spirit sales increased by 15.5 per cent or $3.79 million, and sales of wine were up by 6.6 per cent or $1.61 million.
