A Nova Scotia university student has been fined for violating the province’s Health Protection Act.
RCMP say they received a complaint regarding a StFX student from outside the Atlantic bubble who was not self-isolating Monday.
They say they investigated, and determined that person was in violation of the Health Protection Act.
The student was fined $1,000 Tuesday.
Classes for the 2020-21 academic year at StFX are scheduled to start Sept. 14.
