Police Investigation Continues Near Little River Reservoir

The Saint John Police Force is remaining tight-lipped about an ongoing investigation on the city’s east side.

Officers have been on the scene in the area of the Little River Reservoir since Wednesday evening.

At least two police vehicles were on scene, along with a “Saint John Emergency Measures Command Post” trailer.

Police remained on scene as of Thursday morning and the parking lot to the park was still closed.

When asked for an update about the investigation, spokesperson Jim Hennessy declined to provide details, except to say it is continuing.

“The parking lot is closed to the public until further notice. Please avoid the area,” said Hennessy in an email.
