Boy Dies After Collision In Cap-Pele

RCMP say a 13-year-old boy has died after a collision in Cap-Pele on Monday night.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., Mounties were called to Trois Ruisseaux Road following a report of a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist.

Police say a 13-year-old cyclist had suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Moncton.

The driver and a passenger in the vehicle were not hurt.

The boy died from his injuries Tuesday.

The investigation into what happened is ongoing.
