Five New COVID-19 Cases Reported Friday

New Brunswick health officials reported five new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.

Public Health says all five cases are in the Campbellton region and remain under investigation.

They include two people under 19, one person in their 20s and two people in their 50s.

Two more people have also recovered, bringing the total number of active cases to 92.

Four people are currently in the hospital, including one person in an intensive care unit.

Zone 1 (Moncton region) and Zone 5 (Campbellton region) remain at the Orange level of recovery. All other zones in New Brunswick remain at the Yellow level.

Meanwhile, the province has also renewed its state of emergency order.
