Artillery Training At Base Gagetown

Residents living near the southern portions of Base Gagetown may hear more noise than usual on Wednesday.

The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery School will be conducting training exercises from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Officials from Base Gagetown say nearby communities may hear increased artillery fire during that time.

That includes residents of Browns Flat, Johnson Croft, Lynch Corner, Browns Corner, Central Greenwich, Glenwood, Welsford, Nerepis and Oak Point.

In addition, the all-terrain vehicle trail which enters the base in the vicinity of the Blue Mountain Cadet Camp will also be temporarily closed during this training session.
