President of Canadians for Affordable Energy Dan McTeague expects both gas and diesel prices will decrease at midnight.
Gas could see a dip of almost two cents a litre. Diesel is expected to go down by just over a cent.
Weekly adjustments will be made at midnight by the Energy and Utilities Board.
