Miramichi Girl Inspired By Dr. Jennifer Russell

A nine-year-old girl from Miramichi has brought smiles to a lot of faces this Halloween.

Photos of Addison Silliker dressed as New Brunswick’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jennifer Russell has been shared hundreds of times on Facebook.

Her mom Erica says her daughter came up with the idea all on her own, “She originally thought she would be the corona virus but we didn’t know how we could pull it off. Then she thought of Dr. Russell and kept saying oh we are doing it mom we are doing it!”

Erica says they are overwhelmed with the attention the photo has received, but with all of the uncertainties and anxiety around COVID-19, she is glad Addie could bring so many smiles to New Brunswickers.
