November Temperature Records Smashed In New Brunswick

It won’t shock anyone to know a few temperature records were broken around the province on Tuesday.

Environment Canada says the thermometer hit 23.7 degrees in Moncton beating the old record of 21.1 degrees in 1926. That is the warmest ever in November for the Hub City dating back to 1881.

Others warm spots include Kouchibouguac National Park at 25.1 degrees, smashing the previous record of 18.1 degrees.

That is also the highest temperatures ever recorded anywhere in New Brunswick in the month of November.

St. Stephen set a new record for November 10th of 23.4 degrees with the previous mark being 16.1 degrees.

Bathurst, Woodstock and Fredericton also set records.
