Public Health is warning the public about a possible exposure to COVID-19 in Sussex.
A post on the town’s Facebook page late Thursday the possible exposure occurred Tuesday at the 8th Hussars Sports Centre.
“If you were a player or visitor to the Sports Center on that day, you are advised that you should self-monitor for symptoms,” said the post.
The details came just hours after Public Health reported a COVID-19 case Thursday in the Saint John health zone, which includes the Sussex area.
The travel-related case involves a person in their 30s. It is unclear if the new case and the possible exposure are connected.
