N.B. Top Doc Reassures Santa Claus Not Affected By Travel Restrictions

With cases of COVID-19 still being reported in the province, your children may be concerned about one particular essential worker this holiday season.

Please reassure them about Old Saint Nick.

New Brunswick Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jennifer Russell says there is one individual who is exempt when it comes to travel, and that is Santa Claus.

“The COVID-19 operational plan he has put forward has been reviewed. He is permitted to enter New Brunswick this holiday season.”

Dr. Russell says Santa Claus has even pre-registered for his trip to New Brunswick.

“Everyone must pre-register if you are planning to travel to New Brunswick. Make sure you have your travel pre-approved by registering (online).
