Below Normal Temperatures Expected This Week

Grab that parka and winter hat. We are in for a stretch of below-normal temperatures for much of the week.

Environment Canada says temperatures will be as much as five degrees cooler than normal for the rest of the week.

Daytime highs in the Saint John area normally hover around -3°C this time of year.

But we are only expecting highs of between -6°C and -9°C from Wednesday through Saturday. The high on Sunday will approach -4°C.

Overnight lows are expected to range between -15°C and -20°C from Tuesday night through Thursday night, several degrees below the normal overnight low of -13°C.

The latest forecast from Environment Canada shows temperatures will return to more seasonal values on Sunday.
