Two Found Dead After Digby House Fire

Two people have been found dead following a weekend house fire in western Nova Scotia.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Montague Row in Digby shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday.

RCMP say the bodies of a 65-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were found inside of the home.

“No one else was inside the residence at the time,” the RCMP said in a news release.

Police said the investigation continues but the fire is not believed to have been suspicious.
