A Saint John businessman is throwing his hat in the ring for municipal council.
Daryl Bishop has announced he is running for one of two seats in Ward 4.
Bishop said he will devote his full-time attention to residents, taxpayer and city issues.
He said growing the population and attracting investors are key to financial improvements in the city.
Bishop said he is a 15-year veteran of municipal council and has 46 years of business management experience.
Voters will head to the polls on May 10.
