A registered occupational therapist is throwing her hat in the ring for Quispamsis council.
Dr. Kerrie Luck has announced she is looking to fill one of seven council seats in the town.
Luck said she wants to give back to the community she has lived in for more than two decades.
“Through both my personal and professional life, I have become acutely aware of how the environment in which we live, work, and play can have a significant impact on all aspects of our life. This is why I want to represent you,” said Luck.
Some of her priorities include strong governance, economic development, and enhancing quality of life for residents.
Municipal elections take place on May 10.
