A financial planner with 25 years of experience has joined the race for council in Ward 2 in Saint John.
Russell Wilson says he wants to use his finance background to help fix the city’s monetary problems.
In a post on his Facebook page, Wilson said the city doesn’t have enough cash and it isn’t allocated in the right places.
He says he’d work to bring in big business to increase the population and improve the city’s tax base.
Wilson says he’s excited to work with the community to advance ideas into action.
In a subsequent Facebook post, Wilson said a vote for him is ‘a vote for growth’ and would ‘bring beauty and business back to Saint John.’
