Wayne MacKenney Running In Quispamsis

A long-time Quispamsis resident has put his name forward for the upcoming municipal elections.

Wayne MacKenney says he is looking to fill one of seven seats around the council table.

MacKenney has been a resident of the Kennebecasis Valley town for nearly 50 years.

“As an independent business owner and operator for over 40 years I believe I have the experience, knowledge and skills required to make sound decisions to ensure that our tax dollars are expended wisely,” MacKenney said in a statement.

MacKenney said the decisions by council will affect the quality of life in Quispamsis for years to come, pointing to water and sewage, developments, green space, recreation, police and fire services as examples.

Election day is on May 10.
