RCMP Probe Break-In, Theft At DTI Office

Police are seeking a person of interest following a break-in and theft at a government building near Chipman.

RCMP say it happened at the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure district office on Route 10 in Coal Creek.

Investigators say someone broke into the building around 9:40 p.m. on March 24 and stole several vehicle inspection booklets.

The person of interest is described as wearing a camouflage jacket, hooded sweater, and ball cap. He was also wearing blue jeans and white Nike sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Keswick RCMP at 506-357-4300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
