Half Of NBers Now Have At Least One COVID Vaccine

New Brunswick has hit a significant milestone in its COVID-19 vaccination efforts.

Just over 50 per cent of eligible residents have now been at least partially vaccinated against COVID-19.

That is according to the latest update on the province’s COVID-19 dashboard on Thursday morning.

More than 351,000 of the estimated 693,000 New Brunswickers aged 12 and older who are eligible have received at least one dose.

Nearly 386,000 doses have been administered to date, indicating that more than 34,000 people have received both of their doses.

Earlier this week, the province announced that all adults aged 18 and older are now eligible to be vaccinated.

Federal figures show the province is expecting more than 75,000 doses of vaccine this week.
