A father from Fredericton has a lot more comfort knowing his three young daughters will be taken care of.
Enzo Link is the latest Lotto MAX winner to claim his prize of one million dollars.
He matched all seven numbers in a Maxmillions draw on June 11th.
“I’m beyond thrilled that now I can provide for my daughters’ future in
a way that I couldn’t have otherwise. They’ll have everything they ever need now,” Link says.
Link says he doesn’t buy lottery products regularly, but his wife asked him to pick up a ticket.
“Monday morning, I was in the bedroom and all of a sudden I just heard screaming and
crying,” Link says. “My wife was standing there holding her phone in one hand and the
ticket in the other and said, ‘We did it, we won.”
Link plans to use the winnings to purchase a new home for his family and a new car.
He and his wife will also be opening registered education savings plans for their three
daughters.
They are also looking forward to a family trip to Disneyland and a dream trip to Egypt once they are able…
