55% Of NBers Now Fully Vaccinated

Another milestone has been reached in the effort to vaccinate New Brunswickers against COVID-19.

Public Health says more than 80 per cent of eligible residents now have at least one dose of a vaccine.

Updated figures show close to 1,300 people received their first dose of a vaccine on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, 55 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers are now fully vaccinated with both doses.

Public Health says more than 10,000 people received their second shot on Wednesday.

To date, more than 936,000 total doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the province.
