New Brunswick has surpassed the 60 per cent mark for the number of eligible residents with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
The latest figures released Wednesday morning show 60.7 per cent of people aged 12 and older have both doses.
According to the COVID-19 dashboard, more than 6,400 people received their second dose on Tuesday.
Seventy-five per cent of eligible New Brunswickers ages 12 and older must be fully vaccinated before the province moves to the green phase.
Meanwhile, nearly 1,100 people received their first dose of a vaccine on Tuesday.
That pushed the number of eligible residents with at least one dose to 80.8 per cent.

Meantime, New Brunswick still has seven active cases of COVID-19 and no one is in hospital with the virus.
No new cases were reported on Wednesday.
Public Health says testing continues to be an important part of the pandemic response.
In a partnership with the Chamber of Commerce, rapid testing kits are being distributed to small and medium-sized businesses and organizations throughout the province.
