Cooke Aquaculture is investigating after a maintenance vessel overturned at one of its sites near Blacks Harbour.

Claire Ryan, director of public relations for Cooke, said the incident happened Thursday morning while the vessel was doing routine work.

“The three crew members who were working aboard are safe, and no injuries were sustained,” Ryan said in an email Friday morning.

Ryan said the vessel has been recovered and Transport Canada was notified about the incident.

“There are no additional details being released at this time,” she said.
