Long Delays Reported At Canadian Border Crossings

Travellers entering Canada from the United States are facing long wait times at border crossings.

Monday is the first day that fully vaccinated U.S. citizens are allowed to cross the border for non-essential travel.

Border wait times at the St. Stephen crossings were at around two hours as of 4 p.m. Monday.

Those entering Canada in the Woodstock area were facing delays of around 40 minutes while no delays were being reported at the Edmundston crossing.

Meanwhile, at least one border crossing in northern Ontario is seeing wait times of around seven hours.
