Man Charged After Uptown Stabbing

Police say a 42-year-old man has been charged following a weekend stabbing in uptown Saint John.

Rodman Richard is facing a charge of aggravated assault in connection with the incident.

Richard appeared in court on Monday but did not enter a plea. He will return to court Thursday for a bail hearing.

Police say they were called to a Princess Street apartment early Saturday to find a man had been stabbed.

The 47-year-old man was taken to the hospital but police have not provided any details about his condition.
