An AMBER Alert for a missing Québec toddler was expanded Thursday evening to include all of New Brunswick.

Three-year-old Jake Côté was last seen in Ste-Paule, Québec, at 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police allege he was abducted by 36-year-old David Côté who may be armed and dangerous.

They say the two were last seen on an ATV which has since been recovered.

Jake Côté is described as approximately 30 pounds with blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt with silver stripes on the sleeves and the bottom with an inscription of the number 6 or 9 in a blue camouflage pattern, dark blue jeans and beige boots.

David Côté is described as 5’7″ tall, weighing 180 pounds, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark sweater with a black logo, and black army/camouflage style pants.

Police say anyone who sees David Côté should not approach him but call 911 immediately.
