Horizon Health In Desperate Need Of COVID-19 Support Staff

Horizon Health Network is putting a plea out for staff.

They have an immediate need to recruit clinical and administrative staff to support COVID-19 vaccination clinics, assessment centres and school clinics.

These roles are needed in Zone 1, which is the Moncton zone, Zone 2, the Saint John region and Fredericton which is Zone 3.

There is an urgent need for Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Medical Lab Assistants, and bilingual administrative staff.

This comes as COVID-19 case numbers continue to rise in New Brunswick, specifically in the Moncton and Fredericton.

On Thursday, the active caseload for New Brunswick was 336, with 15 people in hospital, nine of them in intensive care.

They are asking anyone who is available to provide on-site support at a COVID-19 vaccination clinic or assessment centre to get in touch with them.
