Search Continues For Missing Musquash Man

It has now been nearly a month since anyone has seen or heard from a missing 76-year-old man from Musquash.

Paul Doughty was last seen at a business near McKay Loop Road and Route 175 near Pennfield on Aug. 18.

The vehicle he was believed to have been driving was found abandoned on a nearby trail nearly two weeks later on Sept. 1.

Police said Thursday they are focusing their search on that area using several specialized services, including a police dog, aircraft, and a drone.

Local ground search and rescue teams have also been involved, and Doughty’s family has organized several searches of their own.

Doughty is described as 5’7″ tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with short grey hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who may have seen Doughty or his vehicle, a grey 2013 Buick Verano, since Aug. 18 is asked to contact Grand Bay-Westfield RCMP at 506-757-1020.
