Prince Edward Street Fight Leads To Three Arrests

Saint John Police are looking into a fight early Friday night morning outside a business on Prince Edward Street.

Police were told two women were fighting and a security guard was assaulted by a man after he tried to break up the fight.

Arriving officers found a large crowd outside the building and three people were arrested.

Two 18-year-old women have since been released from custody.

One is looking at charges of causing a disturbance, three counts of assaulting a peace officer and resisting a peace officer.

The other woman was charged with causing a disturbance.

A 22-year-old man is facing three charges including assault, resisting a peace officer, and assaulting a peace officer.

All three are due in court at a later date.
