Man Facing Charges After Vehicles Damaged

A 21-year-old man is facing charges after police say several vehicles were damaged in Saint John.

It all started around 9:50 p.m. Monday when police say officers saw an erratic driver in the city’s south end.

According to police, the pick-up truck reportedly hit several parked vehicles before it was found shortly after.

In a news release, police said two men were taken into custody following a brief foot chase.

Tayden Coleman faces several charges, including dangerous driving, failure to stop, and failure to comply with an undertaking. Several Motor Vehicle Act violations were also issued.

Coleman remains in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for Thursday.

Police are asking any witnesses or anyone with dashcam or video surveillance to contact them at 506-648-3333.
