Hampton Funeral Home Owners Plan To Rebuild

The owners of a Hampton funeral home destroyed by fire say they have secured a temporary home.

Reid’s Funeral Home on Main Street caught fire during the early morning hours of Sept. 23.

A post on their website says they have worked with the town to secure the use of the Lighthouse River Centre.

“While we are still in the midst of sorting through the many details, we are happy to be able to assure the community that Hampton will have a new funeral home,” said the post.

“We will rebuild, and we will do our best to keep you up to date as our plans move forward.”

Fire officials have said there is “absolutely nothing” to indicate that the fire was suspicious.
