Fundy Trail Parkway Season Extended

You will have a bit more time than you thought to check out the Fundy Trail Parkway this year.

Officials with the park say their season has been extended by about a week.

It was supposed to close on Saturday, but will now stay open through Oct. 24.

Kristen Scott, marketing coordinator for the park, said with the amazing October weather we have been having, they wanted to give people more time to explore the park

Scott said they have also received a lot of exposure after the Alma connector road opened in late September.

The new road connects the west gate of Fundy National Park to the east entrance of the Fundy Trail Parkway, giving travellers the opportunity to venture between Hopewell Rocks, the Fundy Trail Parkway, and all the sights and trails that lie in between.
